Savannah, Georgia is a constant source of inspiration in my work ever since attending SCAD as a painting graduate student from 2010-2012. The place is overflowing with exciting textures, patterns, and both organic and manmade shapes. Each painting represents a combination of observations collected and collaged together to build a structure that represents memories of those specific bits of the city. With every return visit I discover something new which leads to more paintings about this special place.
