Burlington, New Jersey was our home during the COVID lockdown of 2020. We had just relocated from Chicago and there was a lot of uncertainty both personally and globally. This section of paintings represent our excursions outside of our apartment to walk our dog past the eerily empty playgrounds, tennis courts, and soccer fields surrounded by caution tape. The imagined palette of bold pinks, purples, yellows, and greens represents the hope and optimism the world strove for each day.
